Forney is the place to be if you’re looking for some old-world charm. It was named “Antique Capital of Texas” by way cool Texans and has a population that’s nearly four times as large now! Forney is a small town that borders Dallas, Texas. US 80 runs through the city as an eight-lane highway leading west to central Oklahoma City and east towards Terrell where it becomes State Highway 75C. The United States Census Bureau reported Forneys’s population density at 13 people per square mile in 2010 which makes for excellent road conditions when visiting this location during any time of year!

As of the census in 2010, 14,661 people and 4784 households were living within city limits with a population density of 2 per square mile or less. The racial makeup was 11 841 White (80%), 1 163 African American (10%) 108 Native Americans 157 Asians 763 from other races(5%). About two thirds are Hispanic/LATINO any race at 362 thousand accounting for 16%.

Forney ISD has a long history of academic excellence. In 2010, the district was awarded an “Exemplary” rating based on their students’ performance levels in reading and mathematics during state TAKS testing days that year; furthermore they also offer programs like eBooks for high schoolers as well!
