Heath, a small city in Dallas and Kaufman counties located just off the Highway 59 bypass around 80 miles from downtown Houston is home to many people who commute into this booming metropolis for work each day. Heath is a part of the Rockwall Independent School District. The city serves by four schools: Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary, Amy Parks-Heath Elementary ,Linda Lyons and Maurine Cain Middle Schools as well as Heath High School which was built in 2010 with an impressive modern design to accommodate increased enrollment over time!
